Posts: 9 Aug 2 12 7:29 PM	Tags : None I have a polish doctor at the VA medical center and his english is much to be desired. He ordered a scooter, van and home modifications for me. He listed Immobility as his diagnosis. I tried to explain that I needed "Loss of Use of my lower extremities" statement. Will this diagnosis in the medical record be enough? Thanks Mike

Posts: 2634 Aug 2 12 8:28 PM	Should be but I would do a 21-4138 and put that information in that as well. If the VA is providing those for you it should just be a matter of filing and waiting. I know easier said than done. Good Luck

Thanks Mike No, they are not the same, you will need additional evidence that specifically states the facts for "loss of Use." Keep us updated. Frankie
