You can pass on some of your own benefits and some states have grants and acts to assist vets and their children in getting an education.

As to actual education benefits for your children and your 60% physical rating, there's none.

Texas for example have several benefits. Such as the Hazelwood act.

Plus there's all sorts of grants and loans.

Know that's not what you wanted to hear, but unless you're IU or have benefits like your own GI BILL or something along those lines, you have to foot the bill.
