Posts: 5 Jul 3 12 5:31 PM	Tags : None i have received ptsd service connection at 100% and housebound smc-s has been granted on an appeal backpay is for 28 months, normaly it would be in the account before the decision arrived, i know it is a decent amount of backpay i am owed maybe that is the reason it is taking longer. can non-retiree veterans that have received an increase and backpay give me a timeline about how long it took for you guys to receive the backpay deposit. a claim timeline would be good to know for all vets

The 30 days is a best guess so please don't hold me to it. Because yours may involve a rather large sum it may require an additional signature before payment. Hang tight and be glad your not a retiree who is some case will have to wait almost a year or more before payment.
