Im just trying to see if there is a timeline pattern or something. my audit was complete and sent back to VA on 21 June, 2012. Nothing yet regards retro. Just trying to see if your response gives me some hope that next week will be my week perhaps?

There is another caveat to add to the mix and that is if the retiree is a recent retiree and if that retiree's claim was done under a quick start type program. The rest of us are left sucking hind teat..........................................

Posts: 493 Jul 9 12 8:49 AM	I am a 19 year retiree waiting for a retro (not that big) from a war I fought proudly in 43 years ago,,,,, now I wait my turn for the RO to audit me because they think I am cheating them and then place me in a new claim file for retro with a pending claim date a year out...................... Gee, whatz to get upset about? I would really like to see a study on how many of our fellow nam vets are gone, and what killed them? So this "old" retiree is waiting and waiting. I need to file a new claim and am not about to till my retro shows up,,,,, all they would do is put me back in the stack pending a new audit? I just chatted with a brand new retiree and his claim completion date was put out two years..... something ain't worken! Gen S running the VA should be fired, now. He will be replaced pending the next election! Get someone in there that can get the job done in a timely manner. My humble opinion of course. dirtbag

I am also tired of hearing (WE ARE SORRY FOR THE DELAY) or (DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF CLAIMS) or(WE APPOLOGISE FOR THE DELAY) OR ( WE NEED MORE EVIDENCE) I know its only 43 years for both of us, but now that it may be our turn we just got to keep from dropping dead like so many people post that we are kicking the bucket faster than any other Veteran group. WHO KNOWS

Posts: 463 Jul 10 12 11:18 AM	I am still awaiting an answer on why a year ago when to total number of claims in the system was basically the same as today (Monday Morning Reports) that the VA was able to process retiree retro claims in a timely manner.
