Just wondering if any one knows how long it takes for Social Security to send my medical records to the VA? I had my unemployability claim deferred by the VA until the VA receives my medical records from Social Security. SS granted 100% for a period that I was unemployable due to my service connected disability. I since recovered and went back to work, however I was out of work for 30 months. Initially the VA only awarded temporary 100% for five of the 30 months. Social Security originally denied my claim three times and on the third appeal I was granted 100% disability, but since I had returned to work, I was only awarded for a close period of 30 months that I was unemployable.  I submitted my claim to the VA for 30 months and not just 5 months and the VA said the claim was deferred until they receive any medical records SS has.  What's odd is that SS asked VA for my records and those are the records they used to award the closed end period. Now VA wants copy's of the same records they sent to SS so they can decide my claim. Just wondering if any one had to wait for their claim to move forward when the VA asks for the records from SS and how long does it take for SS to send the  records to VA? Thank you.
