Posts: 181 Jul 2 12 10:53 PM	I was wondering if anyone else, whose submitted there SSDI award letter knows who to contact regarding if the VA has sent a request for your SSA records? I've contacted the SSA and they say they can't see where the VA has requested anything and I've contacted the VA 1 800# and they never know anything. Am I missing something here I've submitted my SSDI award letter twice and can't get any answers from the VA. Does anyone know who I could contact regarding the review of my SSA records? Thanks.

Posts: 6031 Jul 3 12 9:16 AM	You don't contact anyone. There is no way that you can assure yourself that they have contacted anyone. If you have submitted the SSA approval, they WILL get your Social Security Records. Keep in mind, that it often takes 18-24 months for a claim to be resolved. Why don't you have a VSO helping you with this claim? They CAN access the VA, and find out what is going on.
