I was medically separated from the Marines on 30 May 2012. I did all my VA stuff while I was waiting for my MED Board and I was given 10% for my back from the USMC and discharged with SEPS Pay and I was given a proposed rating of 60% from the VA in October of 2011 WAY before I EAS'ed. I been out for 29 days and my clam was closed on June 15th 2012 and under updates it says Appeal is Possible Decision Notification Sent. I still have not received anything from them and I know the VA sucks but how long does it take for them to send out a letter?
Also under Open Claims I have another Compensation Claim that is in Preparation for Notification and another Open Claim that says Regulatory or Procedural Review. Both of these I have no idea what they are about but is this going to delay my Claim???
Also i go to My VA Documents all that I see is my AB7. There is no AB8 like most people talk about and I went to the Benefits Explorer link and it just asks me to put in my Percentages. I have been trying to get in contact with the VA for DAYS and as normal I talk with the animated guy who always says they cannot process my call and to call back. I NEVER ONCE talk to a real person.
Any advice Thanks
