Is anyone taking Xgeva or Prolia along with the Lupron. The reason that I ask is my local GU Dr. has me on the two meds Lupron and Prolia. When I went to the big house, MDAnderson in Houston, they sort of thumb their noses at Prolia and warned of hypocalcium and jaw necrosis. They did not say to not take but warned about it. They suggested Casodex to go along with the Lupron. Then possible radiation if PSA is 0.5 or less. So I have two plans. I think alot of MDAnderson so I am taking Lupron and Casodex. The Prolia the local Dr.'s idea.
Next week, I see a third GU Dr. to try and straighten it all out. I know the old saying that to many cooks spoil the broth. Just wondering if anyone is on Prolia long term and if they have had any problems with it?
