Whoooooa  Dognut--you just don't understand how that cold wx affects us Southern boys!     Ever time I was in Germany or Korea I almost froze my nuts off---come to think of it--maybe I can claim that as a reason for ED--gotta run--gotta fill out a VA form 21-4138 real quick.

On a serious note-Cav1Sgt is right.   A cold wx injury is just as valid a reason for a service connected injury as other reasons, and I wish our fella vet success in his claim.


On a less than serious note the Southern thing still has me rolling in the aisles.   The secret for a good ole Southern boy to survive in cold wx was simple.   We gather in small groups and watched what those Yankee fellas wore.   I remember many a time when a fella Southern would come running up and announce--them there Northern fellas are putting clothes on top of more clothes--they even have a name for it--sounds like "layered affect".   "course sometimes that didn't work out 'cause if one of those Northern fellas put on two layers we Southern fellas would put on four or five.   Sadly we would often trip and fall down and not be able to get up because we had so many dang clothes on.   Fortunately--a Northern fella usually came by and propped us back up on our feet.
