Emailed my VRC to check on the status of my ILP request for knife making equipment. He said he was still evaluating it, there would be an answer in a few weeks and that it wasn't an ILP request it was a Chapter 31 request. I thought requests for recreational therapy items fell under ILP? If he's incorrect should I try to steer him to the proper channel or just wait for the answer then request it go through the proper program?

They may be looking at a training program instead (and may of the programs INCLUDE equipment!! May be a win/win all around if that is the case????)

I did request training (ABS School) and equipment in my ILP list. Perhaps they're running this under the "self employment" track of Chapter 31, that'd be fine with me. Now that you mention it perhaps under that track then I think it'd be more likely to get approved.

My wife says I worry to much, I tell her I have nothing else to do.
