But I can provide my timeline with the San Diego RO as a baseline, but remember all cases are different timeline will vary: Initial claim filed- Sept 2009 C&P exam- July 2010 Decision- Sept 2010 NOD filed Sept 2010 C&P exam June 2011 Decision complete-March 2012 Brown envelope-Mailed 5 March 2012 Retro pay-Still waiting Hope this helps, best to be patient and allow it to happen... it will be resolved eventually. Posts: 85 Mar 8 12 1:03 AM	I put in my claim on July 12, 2011. Got a call a month ago from my case manager who said my claim was ready to close but noticed I had a cancelled evaluation. She suggested that I go in for that eval. She said it would be 2 weeks to a month for me to get that appt. It has been a month already. Need to go down to VO in Mission Valley and start being the 'squeaky wheel.' As Boo says, "Squeaky Wheel gets the kick!" -Minsc (Baldur's Gate II) Edited 1 time by RickMarschall Mar 8 12 1:06 AM.

Posts: 98 Mar 8 12 10:27 AM	I am going thru the SD VARO also as a Quickstart claim which was submitted 1 July 2011 (official retirement date from the Army). I had all C&P exams done prior to retirement and went into Prep for Decision on 1 Nov 2011 (where it has remained).....so similar timelines....keep me posted if you see movement on yours and I will do the same!

Posts: 74 Mar 8 12 10:49 AM	This link might give you an idea of the current timelines: http://www.app.hospitalcompare.va.gov/index.cfm . It comes from the VA "Aspire website, not that it will give you an exact timeframe since each claim is indepently unique as compared to another claim but it may give you an idea at least. You can manipulate the location and information data by using the tabs on the top right hand side where it says "Location". Also, there are only certain locations that process BDD's and quick starts, for example, I started my BDD in Atlanta but since BDD's on the east coast are all processed through Winston-Salem, mine was packaged and forwarded to that location (they still have it, been almost a year now.) Posts: 2 Apr 24 12 6:57 PM	My VA Quick Start Time Line San Diego, Camp Pendleton, EAS Sept. 23 2011 Oct. 01 2011- Claim received with all needed paperwork and appointments completed at that time I was told it would be 60 to 90 days Oct. 04 2011- Claim in Preparation for Decision, I was excited, no doubt, was thinking 60 days max Feb. 16 2012- Called VA about claim, told me because it has been inactive (in the same phase for more then 90 days) a inquire was requested from st. Louis va call center to San Diego Quick Start Feb. 23 2012- Called VA again after being told I would be contacted, told me I should have received a call and there was a note that said "Great news, your claim is now on the desk of a claim adjuster and it would be 30 days." Mar. 16 2012- Called VA nothing new Apr. 04 2012- Called, same Apr. 13 2012- Called, same Apr. 18 2012- Called, talked to "Otis", who has been the only VA rep that has done more then read the same thing, He put another inquire in to San Diego, also told me he was forwarding the request to his supervisor. Apr. 24 2012- Was told I would be recieving a call today, no call. It's been over 200 days now, Im claiming 14 items, some big, but the point is I was told 60 to 90 days and again we stand past 200 days. Wish this post had a happy ending but no, I still wait. Quick Start... That's funny. Hopefully this timeline/info helps.
