There have been very sparse awards for this but my VSO has said I have a good chance. Here's an outline of my evidence.● I was stationed at Udorn RTAFB in 69-70, a time when defoliation was heavy at Thai Bases after sapper attacks at Ubon
● I also spent an additional year '72-'73, increasing my exposure.
● I was an Augmetee Security Guard and worked guarding on the perimeter.
● I worked on and near the flightline and commuted to and from work along the perimeter.
● I lived in the three story barracks that were across the street from the perimeter.
● The perimeter was often flooded, bringing the herbicides that were sprayed along the perimeter into the base contaminating work, play and sleeping areas
I added a "Personal report of exposure" which was a 9 page report with pictures and maps of the base, showing living and working areas near the perimeter. I'm not sure if spending a month on the perimeter is "enough" exposure but couple with that are other facts that we commuted back and forth from the flightline along the perimeter and lived across the street in the 3 story barracks should make them understand how exposed we all were.
If I win, it should open doors for other troops.

My husband is real sick with about 8-9 diseases and your positive attitude and non demeaning approach is really good for those us still waiting. Thanks so much.

Does anyone know the building numbers of the 3 story barracks? I have paperwork that I was in barracks 82 but no proof that 82 was one of those barracks. Picture with building number maybe ?
