I was injured while performing military duty in 2010 and diagnosed with a bulging disc in my lower back a couple of years ago. I was being treated by my civilian doctor up until Aug this year. I was only told to do an LOD a year after the injury was reported. When the LOD was finally processed, it came back EPTS LOD; which to me meant that I had the injury prior to enlisting in the military. I have been in for almost 13 years so that didn't make any sense. I am now being seen for treatment by the MTF, and soon going for physical therapy. Since I am reserve, this now effects my civilian job. I asked about MEDCON orders for the physical therapy and was told that it didn't apply to me because I wasn't active duty when I injured myself. My question is, if I was on duty when I injured myself what does being active duty have to do with it?
