Okay my husband got medically discharged 12/14/2011 with a 100% rating from the va(IDES) On 2/29/2012 his claim went to "closed" on ebenefits. The same day ebenefits posted two new claims both dated 12/15/2011 one of the claims were for eligibility and the second one was another compensation claim. We didn't file for the two extra claims. Ebenefits also stated that the notification letter has been sent... Needless to say we haven't received it. Is this normal? His initial va claim was submitted 4/6/2011. His VSO said that he should have at least received the back pay by now and he is still rated at 100%. Also his AB8 has never appeared on ebenefits. We do not receive army retirement so we really need the ha compensation to kick in. So my question is.... Is this normal? And when should we expect a payment. Nothing is showing up on the va payment section of ebenefits.
