Posts: 33 Feb 28 12 1:45 PM	Tags : None I was reading through my records last night and read that when they didymium knee surgery that they couldn't find my ACL, but he didn't fix anything. They cut me open couldn't find it closed me up. I saw an extra not long ago that still shows the tear in the joint that was never fixed. When they rated me I was rated for arthritis in my knee, not the tear they didn't fix. Should I reopen for the tear that is still there? Also, arthritis, is it rated per joint affected or an overall rating? For instance I have a SC shoulder issue that my private dr found arthritis in. Would I have 2 ratings for my shoulder or would it combine I to a single rating? Thanks

Posts: 77 Feb 28 12 4:55 PM	Mr. Adian, are you saying you were born without an ACL? Or it just came up missing? The cfr 38 tells you how they rate joints. It all depends on motion. Is you shoulder already service connect?

Posts: 33 Feb 28 12 5:17 PM	I guess it disappeared lol No I had a knee injury while in. So he said in his write up that when he went in to scope my knee that he couldn't find it. Which is kinda crazy because I would hardly be able to walk. Seems he was looking for one issue then a private dr after identified it as a miniscus tear that was not fixed. And yes left shoulder is already SC for 20% with a NOD in

Posts: 77 Feb 28 12 5:22 PM	Mr. Adian, you should skip the va c&p and go to your own doctor and have him do it ona DBQ form. He has to fill it out completely for the section that pertains to you. you can find them if you google this dvba_27_p173_rn.pdf
