Posts: 92 Feb 26 12 10:51 AM	I am service connected with DMII 20%. VA is providing me with metforman. I also am taking tricot, and high blood pressure prescriptions. I am not service connected for this. Will VA supply me for tricor and the high blood pressure prescriptions at no cost? Thanks in advance Veteran

Posts: 11385 Feb 26 12 11:41 AM	Co-pays are generally required for non-service connected medications if the vet is not priority 1 (SC => 50%). Posts: 407 Feb 26 12 10:59 PM	ask your diabetes doctor to write a nexus letter that your DMII caused your high blood pressure. lots of medical evidence that it does. ask him about your high levels of low density lipids perhaps also contributing to DMII
