My question is as follows. I separated from the army and received SSB separation pay. I returned to active duty and retired after completing 20yrs of active service on 30 Jun 11. I submitted my claim on 1 Jul 11 and my case was completed on 26 Jan 12 with a rating of 80% disability with an effective date of 1 Dec 11. Have not received a white or brown envelope but i guess it is in the mail. Currently DFAS is deducting the separation pay from my retirement pay. Will paying back the separation pay effect my disability pay and my retro pay???? I read if the separation pay is being deducted from my retirement then the disability pay would not come into play. I just retired and new to the VA service and am very confused with all the lingo and the process. Just need some help understanding the whole process. Thanks
