Hey all, I am a veteran rated at 40% VA compensation. I filed back in 2000 and just today i looked into my payment and realized that the VA has only been paying me for Vet + 3 dependant children. I sent the VA my marriage Certificate back in 2001 so i could change from my maiden name to my married name.... and to this day i still havent been paid my allowance for my spouse! They have been shorting me approx $84 on my compensation each month for the last 124 months. Thats about $10,000 that ive been entitled to which i havent seen. I called the VA and reopened a claim for retro back pay. Anyone have knowledge on this situation?
