I'm currently rated at 80% and I have 2 claims in right now for hypothyroid and sleep apnea. Maybe it'll get to 100%. But I was wondering what Totally Service Connected Disabled mean? Is that 100%? I'd assume it is but I'd like to be sure. I'm trying to get a tuition fee waiver for my wife and it states I must be Total Service Connected Disabled. Thank you very much, Robert

If i ever have kids they can go to any state school for free which is nice. Ch. 35 would be nice if I get 100% p&t. thank you for the help.

Thank you very much, Robert Well if you are referring to exact words of "Totally Service Connected Disabled" in some law or regulation it means that you are considered to be too disabled to work except in a marginal capacity (under VA definition guidelines for what that means) because of some related service illness or injury. Being "totally disabled" is a medical determination that must be made by a doctor. "Service Connected" means that such disability is due to or related to your military service and is determined by a rater/administrator at the VBA based upon medical evidence.
