The most important thing you can do for your PTSD evaluation is be forthright, honest and provide them with as much information regarding your symptoms since the event or events that are suspected to be the cause of this condition.

Some may not want to relate all their sysmptoms out of fear of judgment or embarrassment.  As you are still on active duty you want a correct diagnosis if you have a mental illness as this will provide you better treatment as well as let the VA know how severe your disability was on active duty.  If tears or whatever come during the exam, just be open with the examiner.  Good luck with everything!
