I received my award letter 2 days ago. I was awarded a increase of 20% from 10% for Low back injury. I was also awarded a new 50% amount for Adjustment Disorder w/ depressed mood. Secondary to Low Back Injury. This is not why I posted however.
I am now 60% was 10% that's awesome, If I understand the letter corrctly my new rate will be adjusted and on my next monthly compensation Aug 1st. My main question is how long does it take to receive back pay? I am due for 10 months worth from initial claim date of Nov 1st 2010. I filled claim on October 15th 2010. I can't find anywhere how long it takes. I also thought I read that the amount of back pay should show in Decision letter is that right? Or Not?
One other thing I also have other secondary conditions that have been deferred to a latter date, they did that because I claimed a hardship. Therefore they expedited my claim so I could get monetary funds started and in my hands right away. Do the deferred conditions hold up the back pay? Or will I still get a check or in my case direct deposit in a few days?
Any help in this manner will as usual be GREATLY APPRECIATIVE!!!!
To all my former brother's in Arms:
May the Lord Bless you for your good deeds and forgive you for your short comings!
May his light shine before you and lead you to walk with him and to trust in him with your heart your soul and your mind.
For all good things come to him who believe in Me "Lord God"
Good Night and God Bless!
