Posts: 45 Jun 15 11 12:28 PM	Tags : None For all those with cases pending in St. Pete, I just called the 800 # and was told my husband's claim finished with the rating decision today and went into the notification phase. That means they finished the claim one day shy of the one year mark. Now I just have to wait a little longer to see whether they actually awarded him what they should have. If you have E-benefits you can check "letter generator" and see if your husband's disability percentage has been updated there...

Not sure how often St. Pete actually updates the eBenefits info. I actually had a call into the DAV rep today, but they said he was in hearings. Posts: 45 Jun 15 11 2:39 PM	Well, apparently I'm waiting until 7 AM EST tomorrow morning to talk with the DAV rep now. It seems that despite the fact that he left a message on my phone (apparently he called in at the same time someone else called in because my phone didn't ring, just had a voicemail from "unknown caller") and I called right back, and I called back at 3 PM knowing he would be leaving at 3:30, he left for the day without returning my call. Congratualtions 4x Mommy I have been following some of your post. My husband claim is in St. Pete, and went back to development on Monday because of VCAA form- we have faxed it back and according to Peggy they have received it, hope it goes back to decision phase soon. Keep us posted

Posts: 45 Jun 16 11 10:14 AM	News is NOT good. The A&A was denied in September and our new evidence was determined by the VA to be not new, so that portion is in Appeal status now. The only decision the VA made yesterday was to deny the radiating nerve pain issues my husband has in both legs. So now we wait for the VA to decide to move on the appeal - and yes I realize that will more than likely be years. Wife and caretaker to a disabled USMC vet Mother to 4
