Please give me your thoughts on the following, I hope I will get rated for the following. this is from a report conducted by the VA contracted Psy.D. Licensed Psychologist. This is word for word.
Axis I The current diagnosis is PTSD
The other diagnosis is Axis I is Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent type
The multiple Axis I diagnoses are related and the secondary diagnosis does represent a progression of the primary diagnosis because the physical disabilities and their long-term effects have resulted in claimant's sustaining debilitating depression; in part because he has gone from platoon leader and Staff Sergeant while in the Marines to one who experiences physical pain and emotional damage. the symptoms of each disorder cannot be delineated from each other. Claimant's current state of depression simply represents a progression of symptoms which initially began as medically based, but have evolved into his sustaining unbearable damage.
Axis II No diagnosis on Axis II
Axis III Umbilical Repairs, Patellar Femoral Syndrome, Left Radius Fracture, Right and left Ankle Sprains all residual. Shoulders pain and limited ROM, multiple scarring tissue, Duodenum and Periontal adhesions
Axis IV Problems with primary support group, Marital discord, Occupational problems, Economic problems
Axis V The GAF score is 55
