Posts: 649 Apr 10 11 7:41 AM	Tags : None veterans, as I stated, my service records are at west point I served 2 terms of service.honorable discharge. veterans affairs always stated no records found, or were in st louis fire. not true,va,had my records my question air force I am to receive,military pay,and social security,from original medical disability, also in deers.I am not married,in service however my deers records are all updated. I had no knowledge that I was in deers. the surgent general,supplied the data of my deers records. I am 100% p&t for both terms of service ,on my award letter. I have a dod 2765,card. my wife and son, have 1173. we cannot use tricare and I never received retired pay or ss In 2004 a deers form was sent into deers. I have that copy, this 2004 is on card 2765, as a disabiled veteran. this does not match,the dada,from the Sergent general office, plus I have a jag helping me, he sent air force records, to inspector general. who could not understand, how I could be 100% p&t for both terms of service ,for there is no rating on award letter. I also have west point, looking into this as well, This is the main question ,I would like to know, how did I ger into deers, I have been in deers from air force----by the Sergeant general information, was I medical retired? papers from air force show 6 mon ths in hospital In the line of duty, thank you,

Depending on when you served, there is every possibility that your actual Service Personnel Records were destroyed in the fire at St. Louis. However, if you had already applied for Service Connected Disability by the time of that fire, then the VA WOULD have your service medical records, but NOT your personnel records. There is no "Sergent general", I can only assume that you mean Surgeon General. If you were Medically Retired from any branch of the service, that branch of the service would have a record stating that you had been retired, and that record would NOT have been destroyed in St. Louis. They would have those records, because you would have been receiving retirement pay and benefits. West Point would not have any records on you, unless you attended West Point as a Cadet. They would NOT have your service records, even if you WERE a Cadet, they would only have records on you as a Cadet (primarily academic records, and conduct records). 6 months hospitalization does not mean you were retired. If you served during the 1960's or earlier, then the chances are that you would not have been medically retired because of mental problems. In fact, prior to the 1970's, people with 17, 18, 19 years on active duty were routinely discharged without ANY retirement benefits for mental disorders. You would only receive Social Security Disability if you had applied for it. There is nothing automatic about receiving SSDI. You HAVE to apply for it, and you have to qualify for it. You can apply at any time, but you would have to prove that you became disabled while still covered by insurance. You would NOT receive back cash benefits for more than one year before you apply, but you could apply based on a disability date 20 years ago. You would be in records as a disabled veteran, because that is exactly what you are. Posts: 649 Apr 10 11 11:53 AM	i do have the hospital records=to prove everything I stated as correct. these records come from veterans affairs, sorry about the misspelled word, I did use spell check. as far as my question,what I really want to know, Is how I got into deers===no seems to be able to explain, all deers records are correct and updated. I had to be placed into deers ,from air force, as the years went by, we always received up-dates from tricare, never anything, from veterans affairs,my son is listed in deers,at birth ,and a dependent child in 1983-age 20.all from tricare----sorry if you or I made a mistake,in my topic however on dod card is listed usn disabiled ,however I cannot be 100% for air force, and 100& for navy,but the truth is there,as a disabiled veteran kindly explaine how I got into deers,and tricare, as a disabled veteran

If you are a 100% P&T and Got an ID Card from the military to use at commisary and PX. When they issued that card they inter you in the DEERS system. That how you got there. If you look on the back of yours, wife,and son, you will find that you are not able to use TRICARE as you stated. Your DEERS account will be up dated, when one of your dependents change status. ie divorce, sons age. or new dependent. Robert 100% IU P&T

If I recall correctly everytime that you received advice or guidance on here you rebutted that you were handling your own case and were going to win. I thought the last of your posts you told us that you had won your CLUE and were going to be receiving decades of back, unpaid benefits. The DEERS questions were posted and reposted by you for months, with pretty much the same answers that you are receiving now.

Posts: 649 Apr 10 11 4:41 PM	Have the air force papers I did get retired pay,and social security ssd ---the amount of ss is 1,242.00 veteran no. these papers were never filed. I had sent for records and veterans affairs stated no records found. not until 2003,when I received, the original I wasiIair force files , plus navy, that I have a 100%p&t I had no idea ,I needed to go back to service,this is why the inspectot grneral, did a full investation on this. the reason papers are a west point, is for Id cards correction---I have a dule Id card fot service overseas, as I cannot collected retired pay, twice, I am 100%p&t navy,so I can collect compensation from navy. maybe you guys know this, but If you are a 100% veteran, you have the right to use legal service, I think It might be up to the base , so call legal service first. I think a 100% veteran can use legal service,I did read this somewhere, without the jags help the inspector general, he knew the right place to sent the papers, and no cost to me ,. again thank you ,for your answers,

Posts: 3230 Apr 10 11 8:37 PM	DEERS was updated from your VA file once you were rated 100% Permanent & Total. All dependents listed under you in the VA system were then sent to DOD because they were now eligible for 100%DAV ID cards for dependents. That is how they had all the updated info on your dependents. Your dependents are eligible for CHAMPVA not Tricare because you are not retired by the military. I explained this a few months back a few times; I don't mind posting the same answers so that the poster understands correctly; but you are asking the same questions.

Posts: 649 Apr 24 11 7:15 AM	Letter,dated 9-5-10 from TOL registration, beneficiary needs assistance with TOL, sponser is a TOL benificary,but Is showing up in the deers records disabiled, Records are causing the sponser,s benefit to be invalid , for TRICARE FPR LIFE, records for sponcer refiect time is incorrecty, . The correct dates, ,have been sent ,by office of air force, FREDERICK H ,GRANTHAM,LT,COL,USAF MSC, iN 2004,, va had a new deers records,made,,for disabled veteran of navy,on award letter, I am 100% p&t for air force, and 100%p&T for air force, I have never applied for registration,into deers, I was medical retired, with ssd, the papers were never filed, I would not have joined the navy, If I knew,about air force. I do understand,,I was a T/SGT retired,confirmed by randofff, also, I had a form, to collect,military pay,into compensation. also on award letter,I am 100% p%T, for no hospital,or injury I have those medical records, someone ,must make a decision.., a clear and onmistakable error, is the only answer ,I can see, I also have a clear&unmistakable error,made on 5-9-1994, for final decision,varo, made me 100&t for non service connected,final decision, please do not take this topic wrong,you are only trying to help,I am grateful to you HAPPY EASTER AND PASSOVER VETERANS

Posts: 649 May 15 11 6:47 PM	I really ,am trying to get, what ,I need answere to, my award letter clearly stated, I am 100&p&t, for my war time service.,you all know the story,I am 100& AIR FORCE, also spent 6 months in hospital ,in the line of duty,for no hospital,injury ,but letter sent from va in 1994,clearly,stated we have your records,of air force,hearing loss and cardiovascular disease, confirmed bi va exam ,dater and signed by va doctor. then I receive the award, makeing me 100% p%T for air force, and navy. on 5-9-1994,I win a cue,claim,for va has made me, 100% totaled disabiled for non service connected conditions,,now would the cue ,not kick in ,[motion was sent] to correct the air force. now you all know I use a lawyer on base, sometimes ,I wonder if he knows, what he is talking about. he is sending all papers,to John Mckane, is this a smart move? my file is also is in weat point, the surgent general. has sent me the corrected data, entered into deers, the inspector general, also is aware of this issue, my qriginal claim,was filed on 4-14 1978,, for air force,and dependent clild 1983, deprndent in air force is 20, my id cards are 2765, and dependents 1173,,I would be very happy to go back to 3-14-1978, the rator wrote ,do you wanr to file for air force ,If si fill out 21-526 ,I do so,and found those records in 2003,,nothing was ever done with them, I am no different then you,we service out country,and applied all evidence ,to va, why me,I received a honorabled discharge ,I do not like to keep writing the same story to you. you have all been great ,and all really tried to understand, and I tried as best I could to make you understand,, I can only use air force,because that is where I spent 6 months,in the line of duty. why not use the cue claim,and get it over with,? ny son needs benifits, and health care, all clearly sent in on 3-14-1978,wiht a medical records to prove ,he was disabiled before the age of 18, he is also entitled to tol.but since va sent in the 2004 ,deers enrollment ,this is the correct up date, what is wrong with the system, and how will I ever correct ,the deers record, I hope I have given you all a clear picture, I really gave it my best shot, to me I do not fell I will ever get this straight ,to prove I AM RIGHT, thank you for you interest to response, I have no hope of John McCain ,to answer, out world would be a better plat to live, just tell the truth, don,t lie, when the veteran has a papers to prove him or her rightbut I will not give up,from what I understand only the air force,,can do anything, air force left orders, to follow,,va claimed the were in fire,but yet they had all records to use in the soc and ssoc

I am still trying to figure out how an Air Force guy got disability from the Navy and Air Force and then the Army service academy is in possession of all of his records and he was never in the Army...Did he work at OSS in WWII or something??? Just had to ask to see if I was nuts in thinking this must be a joke from someone...
