So my account is listed in Ebenefits under decision phase. With the anxiety I am experiencing waiting to get out of the Army I have been trying every route necessary to get a more detailed description of my status. I called in and spoke with a claims rep and she told me that a decision was already made on April 1. Does anyone know if I should expect notification soon???? It still hasn't moved in Ebenifits yet even though the rep told me it had a decision. Also does that mean someone can give me info on my rating?

On eBenefits go to the Letter Generator page and pull up your ratings and see if they are there or have changed.

It says "This feature is currently unavailable, please contact...."
Should I call them, or does that mean its not ready yet or something?

Hemi, Not sure, but I seem to remember reading that this will not be available until after your discharge. Perhaps one of our recent discharged vets or retirees can chime in on this. Once your claim is in "Notification" on Ebenefits, you "might" be able to access/print a benefits letter showing your rating. Again though, I think this is going to be after your discharge. Anyhow, I wish you the very best, and Thanks for your service.

Greetings,

If you're working a quick claim or a BDD, you should see your claim in the decision phase on eBenefits once all your medical info / tests / appointments which are required for the claim(s) are complete and in a file. Prior to this, it should have shown in the development phase.

The next thing should be movement to the RO (Rating Official), once your seperation / retirement date passes. Until then, it's just in a hopper waiting for that date to get here. There is no indication on eBenefits as to when it is viewed by anyone breathing oxygen, it moves through the rating/approval/review wickets and you unfortunately, just have to wait... The website is only updated when the file is moved to the notification phase. eBenefits will have appropriate letters show up in the letter generator but not until the decision is made and the file moves to the notification phase.

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm in the DES pilot program. Prior to being discharged my PEBLO will recieve all seperation info from the PEB and VA, and I have to sign off saying I agree before they send it to DC and cut my orders. I'm aware that I can just sit back and wait for my PEBLO to call me with an update, but that particular person has been a pain in the a**. After I noticed a long period of time without moving in the process, and being notified that I missed appts that I was never aware of, I realized they weren't doing there job. I'm anxious to get out bc I'm so close to the end and I'm just trying to stay on top of the situation. I want to make sure I know when my PEBLO should have the information so that it doesn't sit in a file for weeks without me knowing.
