An Residual Function Capacity (RFC) Form is one of the most powerful documents to add to your evidence in an SSDI claim.
You will need a different RFC Form for each of the disabilities you are claiming and you can only use an RFC Form as backup for medical reords. If you use an RFC form as medical evidence by itself, it's worthless.
Your disabilities don't need to be S/C. SSDI deals with any disability that is preventing you from gainful employment. You’re better off to have copies of these documents as part of your evidence in your initial appellation.
The web page for RFC form is http://www.ultimatedisabi...guide.com/rfc_forms.html This web site is also a valuable source of information about the SSDI process
Even though this manual is written for veterans with PTSD, it is a great source of information on how the SSDI process works and is worth referring to regardless of what disabilities you are claiming. The Military Veterans PTSD Reference Manual for SSDI is http://www.ptsdmanual.com/SSArev.htm
Remember, YOU are your own best advocate. If you want it done right, do it yourself!
Best of luck
