Posts: 60 Feb 27 11 4:26 PM	Tags : None Is there an age limit? I am waiting for my last psych eval to be looked at and a determination of my percentage to be made. In the meanwhile I visited the SS office and was told that the cutoff to apply for SSDI is age 64 1/2. I am 65 and evidently inquired 6 months too late. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen...Thanks and take care. Bruce in Southern Utah Nam 69-70 0802

Posts: 11385 Feb 27 11 10:14 PM	Read the SSDI thread. Lots of info there. At your full retirement age, SSDI ends and OA&SI takes over. You may file for SSDI at any age. You must prove you were eligible and disabled before your full retirement age. Member-at-large: Disturbed Veterans of America.
