I had a question for all the MEB experts out there.
I was previously active duty army 88-92 serving in desert storm. I got out of the Army completely until 2003 when I became a Reserve JAG Officer.
In April 2003, I began suffering delayed onset PTSD which has now become quite severe.
I notified my commander regarding my diagnosis and his advice was that we wouldn't make it an issue until my 5 year physical.
That physical is coming up soon and I'm affraid once the military doctors realize I'm on medication for PTSD, they will require an MEB be done.
Any idea what kind of problems I might run into in this scenario? Because of the delayed onset of my symptoms, there was no record of my disorder while on active duty and I don't know if it will be viewed as being caused in the line of duty during my previous enlistment.
any info would be appreciated
