Posts: 349 Feb 16 11 10:40 AM	I am making this a new topic because I did not want to be accused of Jacking someones thread. I have read lots of postings concerning exposure to "Herbicides" as well as "Agent Orange" while in Thailand. For conversation sake, lets just assume that Agent Orange was in fact not used in Thailand. However, lets accept the fact that other Herbicides were in fact used and Vets were exposed to it in Thailand. Based upon the above, what I'd like to know is the following: 1. Are there presumptive diseases due to Herbicide exposure in Thailand? 2. If yes, are they the same presumptives which we know are associated with AO? 3. Have there been any claims which were successfully awarded as a result of Herbicide exposure while in Thailand? I'd really appreciate someone clarifying this puzzle. Posts: 2852 Feb 16 11 11:00 AM	The VA uses the term Herbicide when granting awards for AO this is a quote from my IHD " exposure to herbicides used in the Republic of Vietnam and the subsequent development of these conditions." Ya have to prove your exposure, in words for VN, it is boots on the ground. Posts: 418 Feb 16 11 12:06 PM	Don't know about anyone else's decision but mine says "Service connection for prostate cancer due to agent orange is granted with an evaluation of 100 percent, effective April 1, 2004." Seems pretty clear on that one.
