Does anyone know if atrial fibrulation falls under the umbrella of ischemic heart disease ? I have developed proxysmal (sp) atrial fibrilation which means I have a healthy heart but the signal becomes messed up at times. When it does I'm down for the count until I get shocked back into rhythm or medicated back. I located it in the pay charts but did not incur it in the service. I wondered if it might go along with the new rules vis a vis "Service Connection" for ischemic heart disease. I've tried to find this answer elsewhere with no success. My assumption is that it would not be covered.
