deposit statement: US TREASURY 220 VA BENEFIT $4365...??? I turned civilian 01 APR 2010 (20 yrs service) could this be my SC claim payment for MAY, JUN, JUL, & AUG??? I have not received anything from VA regarding any award letter from my claim....

I've read on some of the threads in here that sometimes, you get the money before you even receive the letter...now, I'm curious as to what they rated me on my claims...Now, just waiting on my BAH for my POST/911 GI bill for being a fulltime student this fall semester...

I received my first payment the exact same way. You should get a letter today or tomorrow detailing your award and why it was given.

Right knee Chondromalacia patella -10%
Left knee instability -10%
Narcissistic Personality Disorder. -30%
Tinnitus - 10%
Bilateral pes planus -10%

Common etiology lower extremities.

I don't know your status, but you may have receive what is being called a Stop-loss check. The DOD is under pressure to pay some of you guys who were retained pass discharged date's

That would not be a deposit from US TREASURY 220 VA BENEFIT.

Nope, it would not be any payment for August. May, June and July at 80% would be $1427/month. This times the three months would be $4281. All these at the Veteran only rate.

Probably best to wait for the notification or contact your VSO.

Thanks for your service to our country.

20 years seems like a lifetime when your 18 years old, but, they sure fly by.

Enjoy yourself with your earned benefits via the VA disability award, you were given, you deserve it. Money can't replace the wear and tear we put on our young bodies while serving our country, and it's the small VA financial benefits and VA provided healthcare thats our reward when we come home.
Who knows how long it will be before the new administration starts trying to take our benefits away, just so he can give it to the people who have never done anything for their selves or their country.

Well, you're right...Got the "brown envelope" today and this is what I got:
Psoriasis=60%
Diabetes type II=20%
Tinnitus=10$
Hypertension=10%

overall combined rating is 70%

and thank you gentlemen for all these valuable info...drinks on me!

I think I messed-up...Big Time.

I Changed My Name to "U.S. Treasury" thinking that a Lot of Money would be "SENT" to "ME".

Then You posted this Thread...using My Name...and wondering WHERE the Money came from.

Well, Vdeleon...it came from ME.

Now I have to come up with another Name..so lots and lots of people will send Gdee and I...a lot of Money.

Make sure you check with finance becase the Air Force likes to give out money (overpay you), then 2 months later you dont receive a check because the AF took it, and they expect you to pay them back...That's what happened to my wife, their taking 150 from each check..300 a month....and the money she got we thought was for all the backpay she was told she would get, for being charged meal deduction from October 09-July 10. Around 4k, they gave her 7K. Now she has to pay back 3k. She told her first shirt and he said he could write a letter for them to extend the payment so when that happendes they wont be taking that much. Bottom line Find out sir.
