Ok, I requested a ROI on my initial PTSD exam and the actual C&P exam and I am somewhat confused on this as always with the VA. They do not jive! Here is what they stated:
INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC IMPRESSION: This exam was almost 2 1/2 hours long and was detailed.
Axis I: PTSD, MDD recurrent, dysthymia, alcohol dependence
Axis II: deferred
Axis III: marital discord, PTSD symptoms, anxiety and depression, social isolation
Axis IV: Pain from arthritis, heart
Axis V: 51
C&P DIAGNOSTIC IMPRESSION: This exam may have been 20 minutes long and we didn’t even go into any details or stressors. There were also statements made in the report that I never even made, like how I enjoy going out with friends and bowling. Yes I do bowl, but I haven’t bowled in at least 5 years. Things he said contradicted statements I made during the initial eval. WTF.
Axis I: PTSD
Axis II: None.
Axis III: Hypertension, arthritis, headaches
Axis IV: Stress with day-to-day problems.
Axis V: GAF 65.
Sounds to me like I am going to get low balled. I had my C&P about 3 weeks ago so I know that it will take a while before getting any rating decision. Any comments or thoughts on what action I should take or if any at all. Many thanks.
