Received two letters from DVA:
First letter -
Dr Mr. Xx:
The records of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) disclose you have been rated with the following service-connected disabilities:
Diagnostic Code - 7814
Disability Description - Tinea Barbae
Percentage - 0
Second Letter -
Dear Mr Xx:
The records of the United States Department of veteran Affairs (VA) disclose you have been rated with the following Nonservice-connected disabilites:
Diagnostic Code - 6100, 6260, 6501, 6602
Disability Description - Hearing Loss, Tinnitus, Rhinitis, Bronchial Asthma
Percentage - 0,0,0,0
Question - what does this mean? What is the difference between service-connected and nonservice connected disabilities? Why did I not get hearing aids, 10% for tinnitus and 30% for Rhinitis and Bronchial Asthma if I use a inhaler daily?
