I agree stick with the legal open and above board stressors it's kind of like drunk driving in the military and you get in a car accident they will find that in the line of duty investigation that your illegal activities caused your injuries and then you will be denied SC for them and SOL stick to stressors that are in the line of duty and that are verifiablebut if it comes down to it that your flashbacks and nightmares are only caused by your illegal activities then are you filing a legitimate PTSD claim? Only you can answer that but I have found that all of the stressors we have cause problems some of them the VA doesn't want to deal with like the human experiments at Edgewood Arsenal the VARO would not even address the issues for more than 4 years until they got caught lying to Senator Craig then the Chairman of the VA Committee, more than 4 years after I filed my claim, they would not discuss my point that if the Army had told the volunteers the truth that they were using Nazi doctors at Edgewood Arsenal to work on the human tests, how many enlisted men would have raised their hands, I don't think any would have if they had been told the Army had 9 of the Nazi's from the death camps working there, I still think it was a despicable thing to do to the soldiers, omission is lying and the Army lied to us. The VA refusing to honestly deal with the issues just compounded the insult.

Stick to legal issues and you will be fine if you need to get the illegal stuff off your chest find a catholic priest
