Without being P&T there is not any health care for dependents offered by the VA. You should contact your VSO and have them send a letter to the VARO to
have you considered P&T. You will need to have a doctor declare that your disability is more likely than not going to get better and should be considered
permanent.
How long have you had IU? Have you had any follow up exams? Have they told you if and when you are to have an exam? aim 11B Bco. 1/502 101st

I also get free prescriptions through the MedsbyMail program. So far both have been very helpful. No premiums to us for either. Small yearly deductible for Champsva. fanaticbooks

VA is one thing CHAMPVA is another | #4 | ||
sea2fish wrote:If she does not have Other Health Insurance (OHI) she would be covered by CHAMPVA. It is basically a PPO type plan your wife can use anywhere. If she does have OHI it becomes secondary payer. Some VA facilities allow CHAMPVA spouses to utilize their facilities/services. |

If your IU and P&T then she will get CHAMPVA health VA bennies(PPO)...Most VA facilities don't see dependents..They are swamped with
VETERANS--AND we "should come FIRST before any dependants..If you don't have P&T get her good insurnce...DOES she work???

Thank you Everyone,
Our Wedding was beautiful as it all worked out great. Right now I am filling out the VA Form 21-686c. We will be asking the VA here in Atlanta. I am assured by them in a call today, that she will be taken care of. As I have Tricare Prime Monday she will be enrolled into it. This is neat, Thank you again sea2fish |
