Well, I am 59 years old. I have Stage IV Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. It states on my award letter for 100% SC for the lymphoma that that VA will determine at a
later date the severity of my lymphoma. I have been receiving the SC since November, 2008.
Are you saying that because of my age, I will not have a future exam? I don't believe that will happen because of my age. I had a
negative PET Scan the end of January, 2009, while finishing chemo. Had a positive one the end of April, 2009. The PET Scan will be repeated the end of this
month. If that one is positive, I will have another biopsy to see what is going on.
But, I fully expect the VA to schedule a future exam to rate me on my residuals or if the lymphoma goes into remission. It states that right on my award
letter that I will be re-examined at 6 months after the treatment stops or the cancer goes into remission.
What do they consider "treatment"?
