Posts: 124 07/19/08 19:04:04	Hi all My wife is 50 years old and receives ChampVA and has worked parttime for only the past three years paying into social security and medicare. Will she be eligible for medicare when 62 years old or will she stay on ChampVA for life? If she does not qualify for medicare will she be able to remain on ChampVA until the end? thanx Ken

Posts: 4219 07/19/08 22:37:34	If you are on Social Security (either Retirement or SSDI), your wife can become eligible for benefits as early as age 62 and for Medicare at age 65.
