Posts: 20 07/19/08 08:44:25	I am now rated- 70% total= 60% loss of R-eye,cataract L eye,2o% DMII, R&L lower extremities neuropthy 10% each=70% few other non SC issues. I am not working and it looks like I cant. I have poor Vision and cant be on my feet for verry long. I do not sleep well at all.I was getting my meds at the clinic and talked to a VA clerk who I talk to when I go to the clinic.He said I qualify for IU. Can you guys give me a little kick in the rigt direction.I dont have a VA rep at the moment.

Posts: 624 09/05/24 15:16:47	"He said I qualify for IU." Your numbers meet the minimum scheduler requirements to be considered for IU. That is far from "qualifying" for IU. See the FAQ thread in Gen claims for more info on requirements etc. My advice is to get a VSO. I use DAV but that is a personal choice. If you choose to go it alone, you can file a 21-8940.
