I lost my best friend this morning. Was at the vets Monday, after the old boy had a seizure. Doc ran some tests, saw that the liver was not right. The old
Golden Retriever was almost 14. yesterday the doc ran more tests and found what was believed to be Lymphoma. He put him on prednisone. He seemed to be
better this morning and wanted to go on his morning ride in the back seat of my truck. I was in my old office visiting friends for about 40 minutes, I came
out and the old guy was laying listless on the back seat. I could see that he had passed away. He went from totally happy to death in a short time. At least
he won't have to suffer through the cancer, He died in his favorite spot in the back seat of my chevy pick up, In my 59 years Amos was the best dog I have
ever had, He will be missed, but not forgotten! Why do the good always seem to die young?
Best friends will not be forgotten,
Go Amos and rest in peace!
