Commissary letter for base ID card? |

I saw a post were you need a commissary letter from the
VARO to show to pickup our ID card. Is this true? I do not want to drive 60 mi. and then leave without the ID card. Thank you. LLFLY I have the letter from the VARO that I am 100% P&T. SS card DD-214 |

Yes, you need a letter from the VARO, they probably have a form letter on their computer. While you're there, pick up letters for ALL of your state and
federal benefits. I generally get 2 copies just in case I lose one.
One you get the letter take it to the ID section on base. For those of you that are 100% P&T, how does commissary prices compare to Cosco or Sam's Club ? Like, how do meat prices compare ?

I rec. my commissary letter today .Going to pick up ID card in AM.
Thanks for the tips what to take along. I call and ask what infor I needed. They told me to bring along my birth cer't. also. So I also put the sink in the car just in case.lol LLFLY |
