I thought there was a specific place for burn pit related stuff on here, but it has been awhile since I have been on here.
I received a chest xray almost 2 years ago and who ever read it said "possible copd". Ok what ever that means, and no other tests were done.
Now more recently I have been having breathing issues, and went in and done another chest xray and a breathing test.
I never got the results of my other xray and was never contacted by my doctor. I did however talk to a receptionist at the VA and she told me that the results were mailed to me that day. I never received them.
My breathing test showed that I have according to my primary care doctor, "mild obstruction" or "mild obstructive" can not remember how he put it. Long story short he told me I have asthma.....
Its weird to me that I could develop asthma at 38 years old.
I believe I have read a few places that the VA likes to diagnose anything lung related as asthma.... is that true?
Anyone ever had anything like this happen to them?
I have a feeling that I need a second opinion on these issues. My lungs are no joke and I am a fairly young man still. I am permanent and total at 100% so I am not looking for a payday here, just want to know exactly whats going on with my lungs. Thank you.
