I received my denial letter on Monday. Called an attorney and met up with him. He explained that my state has a "reconsideration phase", basically a rubber stamp denial again, after the second denial he told me we will be able to get a hearing with an ALJ. I expected all of this, that's why I am posting this, I figured I would take you all on this little ride. I don't know how this will all pan out, I am currently 100% P/T but this does not guarantee an award for SSDI. At my age, my attorney told me the PTSD is the route we should take, I'm 70% PTSD. I have quite a bit of physical damage from service, but due to my age and education I would have to be basically a vegetable to qualify. Sorry if this all over the place.
