Posts: 254 May 2 08 4:43 PM	Tags : None Hey there everybody. Helped my hubby with his claim. He has had panic attacks due to some big stressors in our lives. He has them under control to a point as long as stress stays low and he stays on his meds. He tried to quit the medicine and the attack was back in less than 8 hours. They started when the docs told him he has heart trouble back in 1997. His heart is at 30%. We got his big VA envelope today and they have "deferred a decision" on his panic attacks and dizziness. I have looked under the VA and VBN under deferred decision. No luck. Anyone know what this means and what if anything we should do? ..... I love this website. I check it out at least 3 times a day. You guys make my day. Thanks

Posts: 11847 May 2 08 7:02 PM Does not play well With others.	Deferred decision means the VA has not made a decision on the attacks. It could be they are waiting on further medical evidence or just about anything. Does it say anything regarding why it was deferred?

Posts: 254 May 2 08 10:27 PM	Thanks..... Unfortunately it just says they will defer the decision. I thought it was strange, we gave them copies of his medical chart and he had a C&P with their medical and psychiatric clinics. So just a bit confusing

It could take weeks, months, years, decades "centuries" jk there's really NO way to estimate a deferred decision timetable.. Is this question in regards to the originators post or do you have so OTHER question to ask of?? bump.
