I am on my 3rd implant, I am still waiting on my decision. Without this I have two 50%s, a 40%, a 20% that are combat relared and two at 10% that are not. For you that are good at VA addition you will quickly come up with 90%. I finally turned this into the CRSC board after waiting 3 years to see how long it would take - 1 week and 90%, no help. I am still waiting on the VA. I had the misfortune of moving 4 times and my file moved with me and started over again and went to the bottom of the stack again. I just got a CPAP for breathing at night. ...that is another 50% and will get me to 95 which will give me 100% for CRSC, if VA processes it before I die. ,or the pacemaker could come back at anything over 50%, currently active 30 minutes a day for full pacing...supposed to be 100%, but anyones guess. I got 40% for a minimum of 3 major seizures a week and have a full time paid caregiver.

I have had them go through in 3 months ...and now this. Bottom line is, there are now people going in the stack ahead of you and they are averaging over 5 claims apiece...and a lot of PTSD cases, A LOT. We arer all soldiers and none of us should have priority, and of course non of us should die waiting on the list so tat our families can get back pay that we are owed. You know of course that when you die, your claim is round filed.

Best wishes. It can happen any day, just don't give up. Best luck I have had is drop in visit to VA and talk to the people working the case. This can be done by filing for something else. In the process, you CAN expedite your case...you can also slow it down - depends on how you strike them. Do NOT get pissed off - DO NOT yell at them ...be sympathetic and ask questions or try to provide something that might HELP them with your evaluation. But NEVER dump on them.

retired in 93 at 100% I/U condition hasn't really changed, still trying to get a complete physical on the books. My Seizure rating was downgraded because I did not go to the ER for each seizure even though I had letters from my physician, because it was MY physician. Another VA type would have rubber stamped that one - a Doctor's statement is supposed to be taken.
