Re: Sleep Apnea yearly visit. (reply)

Re: well grounded? (reply)
They are saying that the claimed disability was not the result of the VA's negligence.  You will either have to appeal of present more sound evidence that the VA was negligent.

Re: U S to Arm Syrian Rebels (reply)
Arming Muslims will come back to bite us in the ass!  This administration does not have a very good track record for deciding which are the "good" Muslims and which are the "bad" Muslims.  Remember, BO was thrilled to support the Muslim...

Re: Statistics of organization that win more cases for Disabled vets? (reply)
Remember the old saying about statistics?  Remember that Service Organizations take any vet's case and pursue it to the best of their ability.  Lawyers on the other hand can cherry pick cases that are wins or will result in a Remand....

Discuss this with your VSO and if your DX meets the 20% criteria, then file for the increase.

Re: Confirmed. Denied. (reply)
Now, you will need to overcome the denial with evidence that shows the back was aggravated in the service and has been chronic since the service.  Good luck!

You are correct.  "Mental health" covers all aspects of mental health, while "PTSD" covers the subset of mental health called PTSD.

Re: Army Calling for Female Volunteers for Ranger School (reply)
The problem with all of the feel good BS being pushed by Congress is that when you get into combat and someone has an "emotional" issue then buddies can be killed.  Also, who is going to re-program the men to not drop everything to go...

Re: Question about SMC (reply)
I would file.  It is cancer and if you die of it, you do not want your wife jumping through hoops to qualify for DIC.  If it were something not so significant then I would say to blow it off but this is different.  Good luck with both...
