Re: Troops-just a few here and here (reply)
I agree with you! Either properly fight a war or leave it alone.  How many times did we take the same real estate in VN and then walk away from it?

Re: Concealed carry class with 100% rating. (reply)
Havilina brings up some good issues.  I know you probably do not want to hear this but, below is the basic requirement's for 100% mental.  Imagine using your firearm in the cleanest shoot ever and then having an attorney in a civil case...

Re: Remanded Appeal Question (reply)
If the injuries are all Sc'd then your chances are good but if the injuries are not SC'd then your chances are not so good.

If you are receiving SSDI for a mental disability, most states will not issue you a CCW.

Re: VA Math - bilateral  (reply)
When it is referred to as "Bilateral" it would not be multiplied by 10% and is rated at 50%.

Re: IU without C&P Exam (reply)
This thread is closed.  We do not allow any poster to disrespect any vet's disability.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with any vet working, if able, when rated at 70%.  BTW, Cory, I hid your offending post.  If you wish to post on...

Re: IU without C&P Exam (reply)
I am not going to argue with you.  Two points.  First, you said show you one example where a 70% vet was denied and there are way more than one example that meet your requirements.  Two, what does the VA need the 70% rating for, if 70%...

Re: IU without C&P Exam (reply)
Below are some examples of denials taken from posts on this board in the IU Forum.  As you can see, folks are denied IU when rated at 70% PTSD.  For future reference, there is a "Search" function that will allow your to find information...

Re: IU without C&P Exam (reply)
Actually, Gene is correct.  There are numerous folks who are 70% mental and go to work everyday.  The decision on whether a person meets the requirements for IU are based upon the individual's ability to work at any job and requires that...

Re: Sherri Papini, the Abducted (reply)
It sounded real hinky to me.  She is a good looking women, abducted by two other women (according to her).  She is gone for an extended period of time and then found on the side of the road tied up.  I do not think her story is the real...

Dano,You asked your question on another vet's thread (which is frowned upon).   I have started your own thread so that your answers are not combined with the original OP's answers.  Good luck!

Re: VA Scheduling A Random Exam (reply)
The C&P was not triggered because the OP did not have his CPAP sim card checked.  That information would not be shared with the claims side unless requested due to a pending C&P.

Re: sleep apnea and PTSD doctor in Tucson Arizona (reply)
A few points.  Is it possible to obtain SC for SA secondary to PTSD, yes it is.  Is it a "slam dunk", no it is not.  There are several studies that have determined that folks with PTSD are likely to develop SA as a consequence of the...

Re: Proof of condition worsening (reply)
Keep in mind that the fact that you have not been in treatment can cause some difficulties.  You are telling the VA that your condition has become worse but not so bad as to require treatment.  Good luck.

Then, file for an increase for the PTSD (and IU).  At 70%, the IU would look more doable.

Re: Please help wit a question about Agent Orange. (reply)
The BAR was still is use until the early 70's.  Remember, this was the Navy, and the BAR might have been an arms room weapon that had to be assigned to someone.  I don't know of the BAR being used by US combat troops but I wasn't in VN...
