Re: Increase request or not? (reply)
I came up with 92% and it will take 30% (3-10s) or higher (40%) to reach 95% (paid at 100%).  Good luck.

Re: Earlier effective date ? (reply)
You would have needed three things at the time of the PTSD claim to prevail. They would be: a diagnosis of PTSD, a SC'd stressor (I don't know off-hand when the VA started using certain combat awards in lieu of a verified stressor but I...

Re: Increase request or not? (reply)
Actually, anything between 85 and 94 would get a 90% rating.  So, as the above poster has written, post your numbers and we will do the math or do it yourself to see if seeking the increase will really change anything.  Good luck going...

Re: Earlier effective date ? (reply)
Who exactly was the interview with where they spoke about the earlier effective date?  What was the exact wording on the 1995 denial for PTSD?  Did you appeal the 1995 denial?

Re: Vacation N.C (reply)

Re: PTSD rating increase (reply)
If you have them, I would bring them and offer them to the doctor.  The doc may or may not review them.  Good luck with the C&P.

Re: TBI C&P yesterday (reply)
If the C&P was outsourced, then it will likely be delivered directly to the RO where you can request  it (through FOI) but many ROs are holding on to the C&P documents until the claim has been completed.  Good luck with your claim.

Your tan card will get you on base but will not (I believe) entitle you the service you are looking for.  You can get help through may county social services agencies or get a good private attorney.

Re: Claims lawyer vs. VSO (reply)
An attorney can only help after the claim has been denied.  Even then, a VSO is every bit as effective as an attorney through the BVA.
