Re: Ratings/Compensation Board - how long? (reply)
Under section 8004 CFR, the minimum rating is 30%.  Your claim has gone to a rater and no one can tell you how long it will take between going to the rater and a decision (due to the number of cases the VA is dealing with and all of the...

If you have not done so, go Patrick's "Self-Report" located at the first part of this section.  He has a section in the report that compares the VA rating of PTSD to SS's rating and shows them why the must rate you totally disabled due...

Re: MY LAWYER F*CKED ME! ADVICE NEEDED (reply)
They won't get money if the case was not decided in your favor or remanded.  You can go after them for malpractice but first tell them what happened and make sure the packet was sent to them at the correct address.

Re: secondary claims related to DBII (reply)
You can file for any secondary condition caused or aggravated by your DB.  Identify the condition, have your doctor opine that it is caused by the DB and file the claim.  Good luck going forward!

Do not worry about it.  The money you receive from the VA is tax free and will not impact your SS in any way.  Enjoy the money and quit worrying!

Re: Property Tax Deduction (reply)
If it is in your wife's name and you are not mentioned anywhere on the deed or mortgage, it is unlikely the state would allow your 100% to reduce the taxes on your wife's home.  I could be wrong but it does not look promising.

Some studies support your theory and if you have opinions supporting the theory from your doctors, I think you have a chance of success with your appeal.  Good luck going forward!
