The percent is not the telling issue (if you meet the minimum requirements for IU) the only issue is if you are unemployable.  Many folks work for years at 100% schedular but others are found to be unemployable at 70%.

Actually, going to college full-time is the same as working.  You have to maintain a schedule and perform at a certain level.  I can see where this would lead to a denial.

Re: Is Washington coming after IU again? (reply)
All any of us need do is go back and read the questions posed in threads claiming IU.  Many of them are from folks who have reached retirement age (after working for thirty years) and now claim IU may or may not be legit but it...

King Rat is a great book (I have read it twice) and I enjoy the author's other books as well (thick books with great plots).

Great book for our Navy vets (or anyone else) (topic)
I am about halfway through the book "The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors".  This is a well written history book that reads like an exciting fiction.  Below is a tease from the book.“This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from...

Re: You CAN Get SSDI, after you have started getting Early Retirement Benefits. (reply)
One thing that will definitely help any vet filing for SSDI is Patrick's self-report.  He discusses it in the thread at the beginning of this section.  My claim (using Patrick's template) flew through the SS process, was approved first...

Re: Rated but still under Administrative Review (reply)
If that is your only disability, then you are maxed out unless your doctor has prescribed at least six weeks of bedrest over the last twelve months.  You can get an increase unless your disability supports the increase.

Re: More Undercover Feds All The Time (reply)
Many times a lengthy vet's claim is the result of submitting a poorly developed claim (not all the time but sometimes).  Many vet's decide against going through a VSO (even to proof their work or provide a voice of experience).  When the...

Re: Alaskan Flounder. (reply)
Personally, I will not eat (or feed to my dogs) anything made of packaged in China.  Their manufacturing/inspection processes are just too lax and there are way too many stories with bad health related endings concerning their bad products.

I would have your treating doc fill out a DBQ and bring it with you.  If you ask the C&P doc to go through a pile of paperwork he will probably refuse but if you offer a complete DBQ from your personal doc, he may reference it when...
