Turned mine in last month when I had to be at prosthetics to check on another issue. Nothing was said at the time about needing anything more.  Maybe I need to call them.

A few weeks short of 3 years here.Nothing yet........Changed VRE people over 2 years ago and went from a grab bars and long handled dust pan kinda guy to a gal that states outright that she hates the program.

I think there is another issue here too.You show a monthly amount of $1525 which is correct for a SINGLE/ NO dependents veteran rated at 80%.Then you mention paying child support.Have you put in the paperwork for the additional amount...

If nothing else the VA may be able to provide the care taker (your sister) with some relief..........I don't think this takes as long as a lot of other programs to get going.So, maybe this could help while the rest is being dealt...

also...........I think the $200 a month for clothing might be questioned. And, if they are living with you...........why the $284 a month for rent?? I would think that would have to come right back off of the amount you were...

It is not just for your PTSD meds..........future care at a VA facility, and meds through them........no co-pay. Regardless of what it is for. The only thing this does not qualify you for is dental.

SSDI is Social Security Disability Income.......this one is obviously dealt with through the Social Security Admin. You can not get SSDI unless they deteremine you to be uable to work. They look at everything  NOT just your service...

VA still had not rated my PTSD at all when I got SSDI.I had a rating of 40% or so total through the VA at that time. The rating was not reflective of the true situation and eventually was dramatically increased;

When the time comes you should  remind her that IF she got any income from you it would count "against" her for SSI....it would be reportable income. I would not make any more Hummer payments if your name is not on the note. Your lawyer...
