My Dad was in Vietnam from 10/67-10/68 and, according to him, was exposed to Agent Orange while there. He has an inoperable Brain tumor and many other health issues. I have Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer....Type 1 Diabetes due to the cancer surgery taking 1.2 of my Pancreas....Multiple Endocrine Neoplkasia Type 1...Have had 2 Heart Attacks...and have been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder in 2000. All of that at the age of 39. I was informed by my Oncologist that my issues should be examined by the V.A. @ the Veteran's Hospital (Togus), in Augusta, Maine. Is there a protocol or some sort of chain of command I need to follow to start the process to at least get in to see a doc. I have many mental disorders and have been laughed at by other docs when I suggested this idea to them; which did not help my mental state one bit. I just need to know how and where to get the ball rolling. I want this figured out not only for my own benefit, but for my son's benefit and those affected by the same things I am. Thank you for your help...patience and understanding. And I personally thank you all who served in Vietnam.
