This might get interesting in the Agent Orange arena. Had an appointment with the VA urology surgeon to discuss treatment options for a small cancerous tumor in my prostate. With a Gleason score of 6, I agreed with him that a "wait and see" approach at this time would probably be OK. Then he added, in writing, that even if the cancer was larger and/or more aggressive, he wouldn't operate or recommend any treatment because of my IHD.
So what might a rater do with this mess? Continue 100% until I croak? Down grade the rating by ignoring cancer and rate on residuals (I have some)? Or find something else in the ratings book that might apply?
I'm reading everything I can find on prostate cancer, have read a lot about IHD, haven't found much that combines the two. Getting a 2nd opinion is on my current things to do!
