Bongthecong, deferred means that they need additional medical evidence or a C&P exam done directly addressing your left ventricular hypertrophy. I assume since you filed the claim you've probably been diagnosed with the problem and have the supporting medical evidence. If you have this then what you need to do is call the VA Medical Center that you had your C&P exam done at and ask to speak to the people at the C&P section. When you get the person on the phone from the C&P office just ask them if they can go ahead and schedule you for a C&P exam for your deferred left ventricular hypertrophy. My last C&P exam had some deferred items on it and this is what I did. I had appointments scheduled for me that day for the next available appointment slot. If I hadn't done this there is no telling how long it would have taken them to schedule me for an exam for the deferred items. Hope this helps. Remember, you're the best advocate for yourself.
