Hello there,
I wanted to start by saying thanks to you guys for all the helpful info ive come across on this site.
I was wondering if anyone had advice on my specific situation......here goes.
I'm a 23 yr old E-5 uscg (avionics/flight mech) and back in DEC i had a nice panic attack at work. They started me off with tranqs and other zombie drugs until i was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder-Single episode, and ADHD. Now im on Effoxor XR and Adderall XR. Well the Command notified me that even though treatment is successful their going ahead with an ADMIN Separation i'm assuming under unsuitability thanks to the ADD (It will be honorable, I've never even had a negative page 7 let alone njp). I've been digging for all the info I could and luckily i found this site before the process was too far along. I'm just stressed and confused about whether or not the VA will help me out. I'm not seeking a handout by any means just simply prescription coverage would be awesome. Also what about some other conditions the CG blessed me with such as Ringing Tinnitus (keeps me up at night without a fan or something along those lines) and Bi-Lateral PFS? Right now im pushing to get a board certified audiologist to check my ears so i can get it into my record before its too late. Please any advice at all would alleviate this foggy transition my wife and i are going through. Thanks again for your time.
